U.S. 90% Silver Franklin Half Dollars
U.S. Half Dollars minted in 1964 and earlier contain 90% silver by volume, with each $1 face value equaling .715ozt pure silver. However, it is illegal to melt domestic currency in the U.S., so these coins are traded as "bulk" silver at a very low premium over the current market spot price. They are non-key date coins and/or are below collectible-grade condition, but are the most inexpensive way to buy silver.
Because precious metal values continuously fluctuate on the global commodities market, bullion orders cannot be automatically processed online. Please call (210)980-9200 for the current spot price and details about how to place your bullion order.
